Holiday Wine Cocktail Recipes

AMORE:

Pomegranate Orange White Wine Cocktail

Serves 1

Ingredients:
4 oz. Amore Vidal wine
3 oz pomegranate juice
1 oz fresh range juice from a navel orange
1/2 oz. cognac
mint leaves
fresh pomegranate arils (seeds) or cranberries

Directions:
Pour wine, juices and cognac over ice in a glass
Add slice of navel orange, pomegranate arils/cranberries and mint leaves to garnish

CLOVER HILL:

Clover Hill Caramel Apple Sangria
1 bottle Clover Hill Cayuga White
1 Cup Caramel Flavored Vodka
6 Cups Apple Cider
2 Apples, diced.
Mix all ingredients and blend in refrigerator for 2 hours. Rim you wine glass with cinnamon.

Clover Hill’s Winter Citrus Sangria
1 Bottle of Clover Hill Vidal Verde
8 oz. Lemonade
8 oz. Sprite
1 Lemon – Diced
1 Lime – Diced
1 Orange – Diced
5 Sprigs of Sage

Put the diced fruit and Sage Sprigs in a pitcher and muddle.
Add the Vidal Verde and Lemonade and let blend for 2-4 hours.
Add Sprite and serve.

FRANKLIN HILL:

Cranberry Thyme Spritzers
1 bottle Vidal Blanc infused with fresh Thyme overnight.
Add one cup of White Cranberry juice and 1/2 cup Seltzer.
Serve with fresh cranberries and thyme sprig as garnish.

Harvest Cider
1 bottle of Potion X, 3 oz Harvest (Social Still’s Apple Whiskey) and 1/2 gallon local apple cider. A
dd it all in a sauce pan and let mull with cinnamon sticks for 1 hour.
Serve warm with cinnamon stick and apple slice as garnish

Fireside Martini
3 oz Trio
1 oz Smirnoff Kissed Caramel Vodka
Rimmed with caramel and crushed graham cracker
Serve with brownie brittle and s’mores snack mix.

Holiday Martini
3 parts FHV Passion wine
1 part vanilla vodka
Rim the glass with green colored sugar and garnish with a strawberry.

PINNACLE RIDGE:

The “Syllabub”

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup Pinnacle Ridge Riesling
1 quart half-and-half cream
Heavy whipped cream, for garnish
Ground nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions:
1.) Heat the sugar and wine on low heat in a 1.5 quart saucepan until the sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
2.) Remove from heat and slowly add in the half-and-half.
3.) Beat until frothy; chill completely (about 1.5 hours).
4.) Pour into glasses, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Sparkling Wine Pomegranate Orange Punch
Serves 4 – 6

For the Vanilla Ginger Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 vanilla bean
1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger

For the Punch
1 bottle Pinnacle Ridge Blanc de Blanc
8 oz pomegranate juice
8 oz ginger beer
4 oz orange juice
2 oz vanilla ginger syrup
2 oranges, thinly sliced
1/3 cup pomegranate arils

Directions
Combine all ingredients together in a large pitcher or bowl. Put the orange slices on the inside of the glass before the ice. Fill with ice, then with punch, and a sprinkling of pomegranate seeds.
